Drive Health Prediction Report
DA Drive Analyzer was developed using anonymized drive health data collected across millions of drives in live environments. We have applied DA Drive Analyzer's AI and Threshold-Based Alerts to this large dataset in order to allow the public to track insights related to the drive health. You can think of this like a health snapshot of modern drives.
All values reflect anonymized, aggregated drive health data collected from live environments.
AI Predictions Across Drive Types
Most modern drives are judged by our AI as being in a healthy state. SSDs generally appear more robust than HDDs. This is expected, as they have fewer moving parts to break.

Drive Model Rankings
Here, we observe various drive models ranked by the percentage of each model that have been predicted at-risk. This may provide a rough indication of which drive models are more or less reliable. However, if a drive model is ranked poorly, please check if there is a model with a longer version of the same name, because we have noticed that some drive models tend to shorten their model names when they experience problems, which throws off their rankings.

Trend view
Drive Health Trends by Age
We observe a bathtub curve in the number of drives predicted at-risk by our AI between the ages of 0-8 years, and another bathtub curve in the predicted health of drives between the ages of 8-14 years. This potentially means that we can expect peak health in new drives, and drives that are around 8 years old.

Trend view
SSD Health Trends by Usage
We observe a rise in at-risk SSDs after they use about 70% or 80% of their useful life. This potentially means that less used SSDs are at less risk of failure than more used SSDs.
